Kara Karnival at Hippocampus - 7th August 2010

Are you looking for a creative learning activity for your child this week-end?

Kara4kids and Hippocampus, Koramangala, are teaming up once again to present another exciting event - Baisakhi Mela of Punjab - on Saturday, 7th of August between 11.00 am and 1.00 pm.

Baisakhi marks the beginning of the New Year in the north western parts of India, particularly in the Punjab. It is celebrated all over the State on the first of Baisakh. This is the time when harvest is gathered and the farmer exults in the fulfillment of his year's hard work.

To give a true experience of the festival of Baisakhi, here are some activities Kara has planned:

Activities: Chocolate hampers, kite making, nagara, Punjabi dance and Charkha's
Dress code: Salwar kameez and kurta pyjama
Venue: Hippocampus 525, 16th Main, Koramangala 3rd Block, Bangalore 560 034
Age Group: 3 – 8 years
Timings: 11.00 am to 1.00 pm
Registration: Rs. 150 per child
